Elite Performance & Health Testing Now Open to Runners

Weโ€™re excited to announce that the Institute for Healthy Urban Living (IHUL) at the University of Westminster is now offering elite-level performance and health assessments to the wider sporting community โ€” including runners and running clubs.

Working in collaboration with Dr Steve Ingham (sports physiologist and coach to Olympic and international athletes), our team delivers scienceโ€backed testing designed to help you gain insights into your body and performance. Sessions include:

โ€ข VOโ‚‚ Max & Lactate Threshold testing โ€” measure and develop your aerobic capacity & endurance

โ€ข BodPod Body Composition Analysis โ€” track fat vs lean mass with goldโ€standard precision

โ€ข Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) testing โ€” understand how your body burns fuel and how that might impact training & recovery

โ€ข Comprehensive consultation packages combining fitness, metabolism and recovery insights

All assessments are delivered by accredited specialists at our central London campus (New Cavendish Street, W1).
